  • Tomato- 1kg
  • Sugar- 200 gm
  • Onion- 2
  • Garlic- 4-5
  • Ginger- 1 inch
  • Black Pepper (Kali Mirch) – 1 tea spoon
  • Black Cardamom (Moti Elaichi) – 1
  • Bay Leaf (Tez Patta) – 1
  • Cloves (Long) – 2-3
  • Cinnamon (Dal chini) – 1 inch
  • Red Chilli Powder (Lal Mirch) – 1 Tea Spoon
  • Ginger Powder (Sund) – ½ Tea Spoon
  • Salt- 1 Tea Spoon
  • Black Salt- ½ tea spoon
  • Vinegar (Sirka) – 1 tbs

  1. It would be nicer if you post your entire recipe one page. It is so painful having to flip through pages to see the recipe.

    • actually cylindrical tomatoes are usually more red from inside and not that much sour on the other side round tomatoes which are also known as desi tomato, those have white part inside it and have a sour flavour. So in case of Tomato Ketchup we prefer cylindrical one only

    • In airtight sauce bottle or container you can easily keep it for a month in refrigerator, as tomato juice and spices are natural preservative for it.
