Vrindavan jse Petha ki Delicious Recipe

Today I will tell you how to make petha just like Vrindavan or you can say Desi style petha which we have with poori, especially bedmi poori. This is also known as sitafal ki sabji as in some places petha is also known as sitafal. It is little tangy & sweet. Its sweet & sour touch give it delicious flavors.
This petha recipe is too simple to make at home. With that surely serve bedmi poori as this will be delicious.

Ingredients for Petha ki Sabji

  • Petha (Sitafal) – 1 kg
  • Tomato – 5-6
  • Adrak – 1 inch
  • Hari Mirch – 2
  • Methi dana – 1/2 tsp
  • Hing – 1/4 tsp
  • Namak – as per taste
  • Lal Mirch – 1/2 tsp
  • Haldi – 1/4 tsp
  • Dhaniya Powder –  2 tsp
  • Amchur – 1 tsp
  • Shakkar or gud – 2 tsp
  • Cooking oil – 2tbs
